If you're new to my subscription and wondering what is a "Sunday Email", it's an email full of my rants, personal tips and opinions on marketing especially in the "internet marketing" niche. Sometimes, opinions on life. Whatever it is... it'll give you value after spending time reading it. To make sure you won't miss any future issue, subscriber for free at http://www.sundayemail.com.
You know-- sometimes my Sunday Emails can be harshed. Cuts through like a ninja's blade. But come on, they're my rants. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children.
So if you can relate to what I wrote when reading it-- good because I know it had just served the purpose of helping people.
One more thing-- it'll offend marketers. I hope you're not the one.
Re: Don't Care About Them
Let's get this straight - your mailing list is the MOST IMPORTANT asset of your entire business. If you're new to this internet marketing game, you probably won't understand what I mean and THAT'S FINE. So let me simply explain it this way-- how you end up reading this blog is probably because you're my subscribed to my list. I have a list and whenever I need to reach out to you to tell something or to sell a product, I can email you.
And if you don't know how to build your own list or still struggling to get one, then the best I can do is to recommend you LIST PROFIT System - very affordable and packed with great step-by-step content. I don't get rich selling you that. Or you can look around and buy those hundreds of dollars courses available out there. Your choice.
For those who have a mailing or going to have one will understand today's rant.
Do you feel 'guilty' when you're selling to your list?
I don't.
Why do you build a list in the first place? If you say that your purpose is help people, that's great. And I hope your subscribers help you too or else I don't know how you're going to live by working without income.
I build my list because I want to make money. You think that's a hash truth? If you like to listen to an internet marketer that will say the things that you want to hear but not the truth – go ahead. Plenty of them out there.
The relationship you have with your subscribers is very easily defined - they know you're going to sell to them and they'll be cool with that as long as you play your part right. If they're not cool, then you're in big trouble bucko.
Well, playing your part right simply means that you'll make sure that you'll only sell good stuff to them and balance up your selling. Sell some, give some (but got to be real value content). You can't expect to be selling the crap out of your subscribers everyday (although some marketers will disagree with me by showing how much they make by daily mailout).
If your subscriber complains that you're selling too much, then you should see what you've been promoting lately. And if you KNOW FOR SURE that you're not overdoing it, then you should just ask your subscriber to unsubscribe.
If your purpose is to make money from your list but this subscriber is not going to buy but keep on continue to complain about your emails - DUDE - what were you thinking to 'keep' this fella?
You want them to buy. Like I said, it's a simple relationship – you give value and in return, you expect to be rewarded for your effort. And if your list won't buy, then they're not 'showing you some love'.
But sometimes – it's not their fault because you're AFRAID TO SELL. You didn't email them often enough.
You're afraid that they'll be unhappy or upset.
Trust me, you can't make everyone on your list happy all of the time.
You're afraid that they'll unsubscribe.
Err... well... so? They don't see you're providing value so might as well they don't stay in your list.
You're afraid that they'll scold you.
Come on. Those people who scold you in emails are COWARDS. I'll tell you why - if they're your neighbors that you see every morning, do you think they'll still post nasty comments on your blog or send you hate emails? (smile) They're doing that because they can cowardly hide behind their computers. To me, I don't talk to cowards.
You're afraid they don't have any money left.
You know, it'll be kinda an insult to your subscribers if you don't even have the confidence that they know how to think whether the offer is suitable for them or not. The same subscriber won't buy everything you sell!
On the selfish point of view, if you don't sell, they're going to buy from someone else's anyway. Meaning, someone's gonna make that money, so why not be you if you think you deserve it?
If you've a list, don't feel bad to promote to them.
And if you don't - make sure you DO promote to your list when you got one.
Be bold.
Be daring.
And most importantly, be profitable.
If you've find value in what you read today, please leave a Comment or feedback? Needless to say, I will definitely appreciate it because I read all Comments personally and gotten the chance to know you at the same time.
