Download Royalty Free Music

Here's where you'll need to use music:

1. When you create a video message or website presentation on your website, music grabs their attention instantly

2. When you have audio message on your site

3. When you want to make your videos submitted to video directories to look more impressive

4. When you create paid multimedia products

5. When you do tele-seminars- having background music at the intro is cool

And a lot more ways how music can be used.

Basically, adding music will not only make your multimedia interesting, it can make you look more professional.

Instead of spending the time to look for royalty-free music or hire a composer/musician, here are 6 websites I've found where you can get them!

http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/sound-effects.html
http://downloadsoundeffects.com
http://www.musictrackslibrary.com
http://www.trakax.com

If you feel that you're getting value for subscribing to my newsletter, a simple
thank-you message would be appreciated but you're not obligated to do so. Just do
if your heart feels like saying, 'thanks'. This way, I know how to improve.

You can do that by leaving a comment below.

Have fun 'hunting' for your music clips!

Very cool, thanks Patric. I have actually had to search the web before trying to find royalty free music that I can use without getting a nasty email.

This helps a lot. Keep it up!

Patric

I think that the owners of those music sites will be very unhappy with you telling people that their music is free to use.

I don't think any of the sites provide free music. They all require PAYMENT. (Except for one which allows free use, but ONLY for non-profit organisations.)

What is meant by "Royalty Free" is that they only require payment ONCE. They don't require annual or repeat payments for ongoing use of the music. "Royalties" are ongoing payments for continued use.

Hope this is useful.

The use of copywrited music and images is always a problem, and it can cost you much money when a lawyer spot on your site unlawfull use of content.

But this said there are indeed copyrights free material on the internet like on the site http://www.archive.org/details/audio , but always check if any Creative Commons are available.

Thanks Chan for providing us with all these usefull tips.

Hi Patric,

You are misleading people.

None of this sites offers FREE music. They offer ROYALTY-FREE music, which is a very different thing!

Only http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com offers free music tracks for educational or personal purposes, but they clearly indicate that all for-profit purposes must buy a license.

Please, be more careful!

The posters who pointed out that these resources are NOT FREE are correct.

"Royalty Free" does not mean "free."

In order to use the music on these sites you MUST PAY for the license.

Thanks for this list of royalty-free music sites! I just knew of only one, before this.

I also saw the clarification email you sent, but some of the places do indeed have FREE royalty free music. (you can use and dont have to buy) Trackax is one of them and they say this

"yes, this particular trakPack is free to download and use. We also have a huge selection of loops and beats that are available from as little as $1.99 for a bundle of 10 professionally produced loops.
All the content is Royalty-free - this means you can use the content in anyway you like - put your mixes online/ use in advertisements / sell your mix commercially etc."

I got that quote from them after DL'ing a free bundle which I'll use today. 10 things for 2 bucks is unbeatable when making ads for youtube etc. (If all are good, thats 10 ads soundtracks!)

The first link I clicked from your mail is certainly a winner- Just wanted to let you know and say Thanks!
