The Content Blending Technique
When you're reading this content, this is a real life example how the Content Blending Technique is being used to endorse the Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course to you. If you haven't gotten your copy yet, I highly recommend you to go through the 6 modules at www.youchandoit.com - it will show you the same system that I’m using to make money online every time. CLICK HERE.
The "Content Blending Technique" basically integrates content and promotion together. It is use to sell a product indirectly by providing valuable education to your reader. If done correctly, it can generate more sales than a direct promotion because it lowers your prospect's resistance to read and also, it'll passes the right marketing message to the prospect that triggers them to buy.
Here's a case study that I want to share– I'll tell you what happened and how I use this 'inconvenience' into an advantage and generated more sales in 48 hours than in a month!
Recently, I've updated my best-selling internet marketing course, The Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course and previously, I use Paypal.com and 2co.com to collect Paypal and credit card orders. This is the course that I've created, detailing the precise methods how I'm making money by selling info-products on the internet each month. Click here for the course's description.
And last week, I've changed to use Clickbank.com but since it's a new account registered, there's a product price limit. The Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course used to be sold at $127 successfully but this selling price is above the price limit set so I have no choice but to reduce it. Otherwise, I cannot use Clickbank.com to take orders.
When I've reduced the selling price, there's no additional sales coming in- EVEN AT A LOWER PRICE. Which means, I'm now making less money.
This is obviously a disadvantage for me.
But instead of crying over spilled milk, I take the opportunity to turn it into an advantage – A REASON TO PROMOTE.
Although the price decrease is a disadvantage for me but it's surely an advantage to my prospects. When you have an advantage for your prospects, TELL THEM!
You see, in my case, it's very important to announce. There could be a lot of potential buyers who wanted to order the Chan Do Internet Success System all of this while but hold back because the price could be too steep for themat that time. This announcement will automatically turns into good news for them! Secondly, there could be new visitors and subscribers that did not know about the recent price reduction. They might think that the Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course is ALWAYS priced at this lower price and thus, does not triggers them to take advantage on it. But when there's an offer, people are keen to take on it.
At the same time, you need to create a story and your reason for promotion must be true.
I mean, if I just lowered my selling price without any apparent true reason and announce it, it can be counter effective to the extent of making it worse. You see, lowering price DOES NOT means MORE SALES. Get that to your head.
When price is lowered without a reason, prospect can end up thinking that the product must not been selling well in the market. Or the quality of the course is not good anymore.
This is because of human psychology – we're used to get discounts when the clothes are out of season or good deals when the car model is no longer the latest.
And a story helps to create a better reason and the likelihood of the prospect to understand your current situation.
So by applying this technique, I ended up getting more sales for the Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course in 48 hours than the usual numbers of sales in a month.CLICK HERE TO GET A COPY.
Case Study Review:
The content shared above is a real example of the "Content Blending Technique" in process.
It creates the interest for you to order the Chan Do Internet Success System Home Course because it tells you why you should order now. Not only it'll reveal the same system that I use to generate a full-time income online, but you're getting the instant discount that might not be available for long once the price limit is approved.
Then it shares with you real content based on tested result. The summary of the content is to use your weakness into your strength but do it wisely by using story and 'reason why'.
If you've find value in this quick case study, please leave a Comment or feedback? Needless to say, I will definitely appreciate it because I read all Comments personally and gotten the chance to know you at the same time. :-)

Hi Patric,
I've always enjoyed receiving emails from you because you always provide such valuable content.
I think a lot of internet marketers can succeed just by modeling what you do.
Keep up the great work!

Hi Shun Jian and bendz,
Thanks!
Hi Colim,
We apply many types of tactics and strategies on the internet. At this moment, income from both sources are almost equal because there are many types of internet business models we're doing. For instance, income from Google Adsense will be considered as another type of affiliate marketing.
Thanks,

Hi Patrick,
Always enjoy reading your posts. If there's ome thing I learnt today it's the fact that lowering prices does not automatically generate more sales if you dont explain to people why you've lowered the price. Good thinking.
Very good point. I'll be sure to use this method. Many times marketers forget to add some informational value to their content when they are trying to sell something.
Yes it's true...and if the value you present is really good, I have seen a membership site use a blog to present half the information but for the full article you must subscribe. It was so enticing...I joined!
People want value, so they will pay for it. If you don't show them the value by telling them the story, they will not pay.
Everyone likes a story, and that is why blogging works at all.
Hi Patric,
I agree that providing good content is a vital part of selling online today (especially in the Internet marketing community).
I think it's smart business sense to engage your customers and provide real value to them without expecting them to pay big bucks for every tidbit.
Hi Patric - Thanks for sharing this - I'm interested to know when to move a product to clickbank when it's been selling without clickbank? I have a product that has been selling well via paypal - would you recommend me putting it into clickbank?
Best

Hi Glen,
I moved to Clickbank is because it's easy for affiliates to promote the product. The disadvantage is the fee is much higher than Paypal so what you need to consider is whether you'll get more sales from affiliates or not. If not, then it's good to stay with Paypal for it's low fee.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
