Sunday Email Part 25

Niche Marketing 2.0 System

If you're new to my subscription and wondering what is a "Sunday Email", it's an email full of my rants, personal tips and opinions on marketing especially in the "internet marketing" niche. Sometimes, opinions on life. Whatever it is... it'll give you value after spending time reading it. To make sure you won’t miss any future issue, subscriber for free at www.sundayemail.com

You know-- sometimes my Sunday Emails can be harshed. Cuts through like a ninja's blade. But come on, they're my rants. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children.

So if you can relate to what I wrote when reading it-- good because I know it had just served the purpose of helping people.

One more thing-- it'll offend marketers. I hope you're not the one.

Big Dreams

It's good to have big dreams. Books have been written on the topic of thinking big.

Everybody likes that.

I too want to have my own MySpace.com or generate 20 million USD a year for my internet businesses.

It's hard for me to answer a question from someone who just bought a $97 product and has a 'big dream', and happened to be new to this internet marketing game at the same time. Question like...

"I have this product I want to sell on the internet. Now I know there's a huge market for it because my 'competitor' generated 10 million USD last year and I've researched the keyword 'keyword ABC' shows 143,000 searches a month."

You see, being ignorant is fun WHEN you don't need to take responsibility for reality.

First thing first-- if David D' Angelo's DoubleYourDating.com generated over $20 million a year in the dating niche, would that means you'll make $20 million a year too?

Hhm.

Do a reality check.

Having big dreams is good but having a practical big dream would be better.

No wonder there are so many people whining why this whole internet marketing stuff won't work and it's just a big scam-- because they know nothing about internet marketing and yet expect to do what David D'Angelo does after spending $47 or $97. Isn't that insane?

Guess what- that's the reality we're living in... in the internet marketing niche.

So if you're in this niche, buckle up coz the ride's just going to get wilder.

If you're a customer reading this, you have your own role to play as well. If you get a value or two from whatever course you've bought, then be happy with it and use what you've learn to achieve what you want to achieve. Well, some customers reading this piece of advice won't like to hear that because they expect their dream to come true. So go read other internet marketing blogs that will write WHAT YOU WANT to read because I can't care less to sugar coat the darn truth.

I think it's time to ramble about how I overcome obstacles. I whined. I complained. But I never asked for refund or try to take advantage of another marketer's product. Even if the product could not do what it's suppose to do, I'll find a solution after my grumpy complains. Yeah, I'm human. I complain too. You see, as long as I learn something new that I know will make me more money than what I've paid for, I'm good to go.

And besides, I think I'm not thinking long-term if I'm going to ask a refund for a $47 product. Don't get me wrong-- If the product is a pile of BS, then you SHOULD ask one right away. But if you have gotten the value, don't. Here's why... if you take advantage of other marketers, it'll come back to you in one form or another. Others will take advantage of you in the future. Sounds crazy... they call this "Law of Attraction".

Secondly, why would you want to risk a relationship for the sake of $47? Dude, you would probably spend that money in somewhere else anyway.

Let's role play here-- You got this cool product that you absolutely know that you're overdelivering and selling below the price. How? God knows, this is roleplay. Just stick to the game so that I can elaborate a point to you.

A customer named A bought one from you. After 5 days, he asked for a refund because he says that your stuff doesn't work. And you know that's a stupid lie or excuse just to scam your product for free because it'll take at least 10 days to see result.

Customer B gets great value from your product and he knows the value gained is already worth more than what he had paid you but insisted on a refund because he's getting not enough value.

What sort of impression you have on A and B? I'm sure it's not positive. You now know why I don't ask refunds if it's not neccessary?

By doing that, A and B have just eliminated their chance to build a relationship with you.

If they ask you questions to learn more for free, I doubt you'll answer them because they're not your valuable customers.

If you got a new product release and they want to buy, you might not want to sell them anymore.

And the worse is-- if they ever want to do JV with you, I don't think they will be in your 'to be considered' JV list at all. I mean, you'll never know how the future's going to turn out.

So do you see how damaging it can get for asking $47 refund?

Again, that's why I don't ask a refund if the product's okay. It's not not worth the business risk.

So You Want To Make Big Bucks In Internet Marketing Niche?

First rule stick-- don't ask for refunds from other internet marketers unless you really need to. It's just bad for your reputation because you'll never know that one day, you might want to do a joint venture with him.

Secondly, understand that time plays a huge role to build recognition and relationship. In the IM niche, it's about who you know. I know it doesn't sound pleasant, but heck, it's a reality. I wouldn't be able to sell 200 copies of Niche Marketing 2.0 ™ System at $997 if it wasn;t from these A-list gurus below as my JV Partners:

Shawn Casey, Jo Han Mok, Ewen Chia, Matt Bacak, Henry Gold, Dustin Struckman, Jeremy Gislason, Fabian Lim, John Delavera, Mike Mograbi and others.

"Gee, Patric. If this is true, why are you telling me because it's not helping me to reach my goal."

Well, if you think small, then it's not going to help you reach your goal, bucko. It's ironic- earlier, I told you not to think big but now I'm asking you to think big.

The difference here is, this is something possible- with time and relationship. Of course, with a super cool product to go along with it. But thinking big of having your own social network site so that you can sell it off for 50 million dollars one day or owning a site like espn.com would be a little bit far reach, unless you truly know what you're doing and you have the resources to pull that kind of stunt.

So if you want to earn big bucks in the IM niche, do the right thing and be patience.

This is not a lone ranger business. Other than time as the key factor, one of the utmost skill is to build a strong network with the influencers of the market. This zoom down to learning joint ventures. Go read ebooks about it if you have to. Attend seminars to mingle around. Whatever. Just rememmber that doing JV's is the 'secret' to make big bucks online quickly.

"Anything Else Other Than Your Rants, Patric?"

Actually, there is.

You've heard about running memberships to generate recurring income each month and how great it is as an income generator. If it is not true, why are you seeing so many membership offers in the internet marketing niche lately?

And it isn't as difficult as you think it is.

But the best way to generate huge income is by cultivating a list of members that are responsive to buy. They should be since they pay you each month and anxious to hear your latest message.

However, the real power that I've seen with membership business model is it's attractive to get JV partners to promote rather than a one time commission product. Especially in the internet marketing niche, getting JV partners is getting more and more difficult because there are so many product launches each week. They are torn apart on which product they should promote since they only have one bullet.

The best way to learn about creating a membership to make money online from A-Z is to join The Membership Millionaires for free at www.themembershipmillionaires.com.

If you have been reading the "Sunday Email" series, I'll always ask for your favor to leave a Comment if you find value of what you've read. It'll be most appreciated because I read all of them personally. (smile)

And yeah, sometimes it upsets the reader because the truth can be... hurtful.

It was worth the wait! You always tell the truth, many times people don't want that but I respect the fact that you do it.

Can hardly wait for the next one.

Keep up the good work Patric.

Being new to this, well a couple of months, I have to agree Patric. I've bought a few products that have promised to "make me a millionaire" over night but I bought them not because I believed the hype but rather to try and learn as much as I can. Some of those products have been BS, some very good but I've learnt from all of them. Persistence, time and patience are the keys to success. Learn as much as you can from wherever you can then put that learning to good use. Knowledge is power.

Patric, I agree with most of your rant. As a matter of fact, I have only requested a refund once in over a year of researching and purchasing products.

That refund was because I discovered in the first paragraphs of the product that it was a duplicate of what I already had and, in fact, I had the pieces from the original, and better known marketer. It was an obvious rehash and I could not use it.

Even then I was willing to trade for another product but with an American phone number that came back as not in service and an overseas number which was a recording directing callers to the website. Not being able to contact a person, I was left to ask for a refund. Even then it took more than two weeks to get my money "cheerfully refunded."

The sad part about this is that I had cheefully purchased from this person before and loved the product. Now I am hesitant to promote any of his stuff. Do I stay on his list? Of course I do! How else can I check out his new stuff to see if this was just a fluke or if this person can only teach me bad business practices for Internet Marketers?

What I did learn is that I would be hard pressed to consider ever doing any JV with this person. He says that he wants to help others to succeed yet is so isolated that he cannot even manage to get someone in his organization to answer an email for over two weeks. This doesn't set well with me when he promises "his personal email address" in all of his products. When I mailed that, I got a "go to the website" form letter back via autoresponder --- to !Firstname! yet! How sloppy can one get? He obviously learned the right words to put in sales letters but not how to honor them.

Thank you for your honesty. I would rather a marketer be upfront about needing some privacy than to have someone brag about giving his own personal email and then ignoring requests and questions.

I cannot yet afford your stuff, especially your latest. I am sure it is worth every penny. I just cannot commit a whole month's income to any program or product right now. I have to earn some money online and get just a tad more healthy first. Meanwhile, I am researching, planning and learning all I can.

I have set a target date to have a product ready to promote or launch. I'm in process of figuring out which niche to start in seriously and what to do to build my list. There is a lot of planning to do to do it halfway right.

There is alreayd one product that I use and can fully recommend as it is making a positive change in my body. Up until now, however, I have only been a user and not a promoter. That product is Acaiplus supplement. The website: http://www.acaiplus.com/jemyl promotes the product with a free bottle. I am just not sure how I want to promote the website. My sponsor suggests sending five emails a day, but until I can either build a list or buy leads, I don't feel right just sending an email to people. My friends all know how this has lowered my blood sugar and helped me heal from surgery. Besides, I would rather promote this site as an adjunct to one of my niches as it will give a another upsell later on.

Thank you again for your Sunday emails. They are very helpful. I am a bit of a slow learner now. I say it is because of my age. I think, though, that it will be gone once I am earning enough money to live a bit better. (smile) Peace and Love to you and yours. --Ellen a.k.a. jemyl

You either didn't receive my comment - there were no others at the time - or you chose not to promulgate it . I just wonder why.
