Sunday Email Part 20
**To avoid missing the next issue, go to www.SundayEmail.com now**
If you're new to my subscription and wondering what is a "Sunday Email", it's an email full of my rants, personal tips and opinions on marketing especially in the "internet marketing" niche. Sometimes, opinions on life. Whatever it is... it'll give you value after spending time reading it.
You know-- sometimes my Sunday Emails can be harshed. Cuts through like a ninja's blade. But come on, they're my rants. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children.
So if you can relate to what I wrote when reading it-- good because I know it had just served the purpose of helping people.
One more thing-- it'll offend marketers. I hope you're not the one.
What's Good For Me?
There are products after products being promoted in December that I can remembered. And these are by the 'movers and shakers' of the internet marketing industry, not counting the minor ones. I did promoted one of them yesterday, which is the Nitro Blueprint.
So whoever marketer who teaches you that promotion in December is not a good strategy, ask him to eat his words.
You got to understand a fact here-- marketers will keep on creating new products to be sold to you. If you haven't figure out the math, that's how they make money. Are you upset now? If you are, you don't pass to be a marketer. That's how marketers add value to the community: they create new courses!
It's good to learn what are taught in the courses but that's not enough. Observe how the marketers market their product because there's where the missing gap is.
You see, I'm a victim of having too many courses with too little time to read. Now if you're in that same shoe, there's only two possibilities and one of it is delaying your success.
You're either too busy to read because YOU'RE DOING it or you're not reading because you have too many on hand now.
My friend-- here's a statement that might relieve your stress: you'll NEVER learn every topic of internet marketing. Never because it's impossible. And yet, many assumed they can. So just pick the ones you need to master. For instance, the next fad will come up today or tomorrow. If you're learning how to get traffic from MySpace, you'll soon hear courses how to get traffic from Squidoo or Facebook. If you going to 'keep up to date' of these topics, you'll never find the time to actually apply what've you learned.
At the same time, if you do not have a complete picture of an internet business, then you need an A-Z program-- not just another course on search engine, copywriting, product creation and so on. (I highly recommend Nitro Blueprint for that because of the proof.)
Let me tell to you a way to save money on buying courses... save your money to invest in December. Many marketers will be taking advantage on this month to use it as a reason to throw a discount on their product. But in actual fact, they want to get a spike of sales. Who doesn't. I might throw my own "end of the year sale" as well. At the same time, you might see it as spending more instead of saving. It's up to you to say the glass is half full or half empty. The advice is, shop around to get the best deal.
And if your budget is constraint, then look around for free giveaway promotions. You'll see them popping up like mushrooms soon. Honestly, most of the gifts are junk but there always a few diamonds in the rough there.
Readership Increased
Each time I mailed out to my list in December, I get more people to read. It was kinda surprising because I was expecting to get less since everyone's busy preparing for Christmas or New Year.
You know what I've learned from this observation?
The internet marketing niche is ALWAYS responsive and customers are getting smarter at the same time. They'll compare product offers first before deciding who to buy from or what to buy.
At the same time, I think many are gearing up for 2008 and laying down the foundation right now. That's why they're reading more to avoid missing out any of Dec's offers.
Are you in a hyper competitive market like the internet marketing niche? If you are, I suggest you to start doing your executable plan right now. If you find that there are a lot of launches in December, expect to have more in January because the first month of the year is always a hot month for promotion. Everyone wants new. People will buy on hope and dream. Everyone wants start fresh.
I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just passing my thought because I don't want you to be left behind. I mean, I don't get anything for warning you and if you happen to be my competitor, I just did a disfavor for myself. But that's fine because I don't depend on the internet marketing niche solely to pay for my car and house.
And I'm not trying to mess up your festival mood. Party or celebrate as much as you want but make sure have a solid plan for 2008.
If you have been reading the "Sunday Email" series, I'll always ask for your favor to leave a Comment if you find value of what you've read. It'll be most appreciated because I read all of them personally. (smile)

Patric,
Thanks for all the great advice.
Also, I am doing exactly what you talked about in today's-Sunday Email.
I am searching around to find something for the new year. I want to start fresh and I want to really do it.
I have done this for the last 2 years and I have never got started yet.
This year is different.
I have been searching for the perfect teacher, coach, program,
class, or whatever it takes to be able to start making a steady monthly income in the new year.
So you were right about everything you said in your email today.
The bad thing is that there is so many things to choose from and it is so hard to know what is the right one.
I have to make a decision fast.
I have to get started before or at least at the beginning of the New Year.
Thanks for everything Patric.
Have a Nice Christmas and a Great New Year,
Tammy
Hi Ewen,
Your Sunday Rants are like a breath of fresh air.
It is tempting to jump from order to order but trying to find the best offer is time consuming.
Looking forward to your next rant.
