Sunday Email Part 13
If you're new to my subscription and wondering what is a "Sunday Email", it's an email full of my rants, personal tips and opinions on marketing especially in the "internet marketing" niche. Sometimes, opinions on life. Whatever it is... it'll give you value after reading it.
You know-- sometimes my Sunday Emails can be harsh. Cuts through like a ninja's blade. But come on, they're my rants. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children.
So if you can relate to what I wrote when reading it-- good because I know it had just served the purpose of helping people.
Can't Make The First Dollar Or A Million
I get it-- why most of the people just can't make a single dollar online.
You see, building an online business is just like watching a movie.
You got to start from the beginning and ACTUALLY COMPLETE it. Very simple concept right?
Start from the beginning and complete the whole darn thing.
But people don't do that! Either they can't or don't want. Who cares. The point is, they don't complete it.
They get sidetracked. Whether it's because of a 'better' opportunity arises or something just pops up in front of them at that time.
All you need to do is to complete it.
In an internet marketing coaching program like the Chan Do Internet Success System, all the clients need to do is just to complete the short 6 weeks of training that are prepared step-by-step.
IT'S THAT EASY. Attend it. Be present. Understand it. And do what it ask you to do and you'll make money online. But darn it. Some will attend but not being present. Some will attend, be present but wouldn't try to understand it. Some will have everything but refuse to do it for whatever crappy reasons possible.
If 6 weeks is considered long, then those people taking MBA or a business degree must be crazy to spend years of learning.
So now after completing your training, you need to complete the action steps. The "do it" part. Like in Chan Do Internet Success System Coaching Program, there are 6 steps needed to be completed--
Step #1: Find and identify a profitable niche in the long tail market online
Step #2: Create your own money-making info-product to sell on the internet
Step #3: Design the 'correct' webpage and write a salesletter
Step #4: Master the techniques of email marketing
Step #5: Advertise and promote your webpage effectively online
Step #6: Strategic planning to grow your business and add more new tactics
Complete the training and complete what you need to do.
If you don't complete, how can you expect the system to work like magic? Just like watching a movie-- How are you going to know the conclusion of the movie if you don't finish it from the start?
It's ridiculous not to complete what you start.
It's even more ridiculous not to do anything once you have the million dollar idea in your brain and gone through the training to understand how to do it.
The Paypal Story
I think you might have heard horror stories of how other people's Paypal account were 'frozen' or suspended for investigation. And thus, the money in their Paypal was not able to be withdrawn upon request.
And because of that, there are just so many misleading information of NOT to use Paypal in product launch. The rant here is not about Paypal or their rules-- But about judging advice from theories than experiencing it first hand.
Because one marketer or two land him/themselves into a hot soup, it doesn't means that is the actual fact.
I've been marketing online for 4 years now and I've never have an issue with Paypal. As a matter of fact, I like Paypal because they're professional and trustworthy. I've got a Paypal Manager that assists me if I'm having any issue to be resolved.
For instance— I've already emailed to my Paypal Manager that I'll be launching my coaching program on 18th July and to be aware of sudden sales volume within 24 hours.
**Note: 18th July launch is the Chan Do Internet Success System Coaching Program at www.youchandoit.com.
If you're going to bet the success of your online business based on what you hear from gurus, I'll suggest you to think twice.
As a matter of fact, don't listen or believe anything I say. Just absorb what I said and digest them for your own advantage to see if they are right for you. I don't claim to be the person who knows everything about internet marketing but as someone who’s humbly sharing the experience I have to make money online. I have been blessed to making 5-6 figure income on the internet in a single month and I can show you how but it is you to decide how to use the information.
Timing's Right?
I was once asked,
"Patric, do you think it is right the time now to start an internet business?"
I'm sure this is just an innocent question asked to know if he should get involved with internet marketing or not.
But the problem is, there's no one universal right timing, bucko. Some people think the right time will come next week, next month, next year, next decade or whatever. It's just like I've been hearing that now's the best time to go into the health market because of baby boomers. Wait. Didn't I hear that 5 years ago?
You gotta hear where do the marketing messages are coming from. Actually, they're noises-- not messages if they not from the right source. Confusing ones.
There are three types of people.
The first one is those who will take action without knowing anything. Folks say, taking action is important. Bzzz. Wrong. Taking action by knowing WHAT TO DO CORRECTLY is the right thing but taking action merely for lying to ourselves that we're productive is not smart. That's call waste of energy because nothing's gonna get accomplished by the end of the day. That's call taking stupid risk.
Then there's the category of people that will wait for the 'right' timing and never do anything. In actual fact, they're just procrastinating because they have other things more 'important' to accomplish.
And the last one is those who knows the right thing and do it regardless of timing. These are the people like you-- success seekers. Kudos.
If you want to wait, fine. Good thing I didn't wait years ago or else I'll still be stuck wondering why others are making a good living online amd envy of them.
Especially in the long tail niche market, timing is irrelevant. I don't see the 'next big thing' in this type of market but a consistent interest of people in it.
Final thought? The quicker you start, the more money you're gonna make.
If you have been reading the "Sunday Email" series, I'll always ask for your favor to leave a Comment if you find value of what you've read. It'll be most appreciated because I read all of them personally. (smile)

Thanks for making me feel like an insider. I totally agree with step by step coaching as opposed to building a library of marketing products that leave you with less money and no comprehensive map to making a living online. I think if you add a payment option with installments or 2 week trial of that sort you will eliminate that last excuse anyone will have for not getting started. Thanks Patric.
Hi Patric,
As usuaul, you seem to have an impeccable sense of what we need to hear. This email is exactly what I needed to hear at the stage of my own journey that I'm at.
For the last few days I've been feeling discouraged because I've put in a lot of effort (I only had 3 days sleep last week, and worked 16-18 days) but have not gotten the results I was hoping for. But after reading your email I am encouraged to carry on.
Thanks for reminding me that I've got to keep going all the way to "Z".
Paul Lambert.
Patrick.
Yes you are correct in that a lot of people will procrastinate.
Also a lot of people do want to progress to working for themselves on the internet and leave there day job. The problem is getting good information that will show you the correct way forward.
Most marketers when you ask for there help are only interested in selling you a product then forgetting about you.
This is what I have found.
All the best Patric,
Ian
Hi Dave Stevens,
You're welcome. About the installment plan, I'll give it a thought for this 18th July upcoming coaching program I'm releasing.

Hi Paul Lambert,
It is true to be easily discouraged when we're banging against the wall without getting any result.
Look back to what you have done last week and you'll see what are the things that you can improve.
Sometimes, we're unable to see where we are doing wrong because of the 'blind spot' effect. Try seeing from a third party's view-- or better still, get a reliable third party view that can be trusted.
You Chan Do It,

Hi Patric,
I can totally agree with you on practically all that you said above.
Especially the part about taking action but not really having the proper tools or knowledge when taking action.
It could be a little in vain, and it does certainly take some time to know what you are really doing in
IM without the proper training. I've bought a few of your products and have always found them to be top-notch. Keep, up the good work on educating people in this area.

Hi, On the point of finishing what one started, The problem is when you first start a project, it's a new idea, all fresh and exciting, you through yourself into it. Wow, all that excitement. As the grunge it takes to develop that project becomes clear and the initial excitement wears thin, then the doers are filtered from the quiters
Affiliate Marketing Introduction
Hi Patric....same day response...wow that needs no comment. I think alot of people can learn just by what marketers are doing...not just what they are selling. How did they launch? What medium did they use? What hosting are they using? What autoresponder? If something was very effective to me personally to make me want to take action remember it for my own campaigns. I have learned so much just by observation. I cannot place enough emphasis to marketers to invest in a comphehensive business building model. Dont just invest in copy writing, landing pages, email marketing, list building, traffic generation...you will be right back where you started but with less cash...What I like most about Patrics emphasis is that he knows what it will take to make you successful...dont think of coaching and step by step programs as just big ticket items....this is the reason few people are making the big bucks you have to see the big picture...I go to so many forums for the people who have already purchased a marketing product and I cant believe the void that still remains.
I have to admit there is a Tax that most people are paying before they experience some success online due to the many systems we get bombared with, only to find out that we only got a piece of the puzzle. The marketers dont really care because most had to pay the same "Tax" when they got started. There is nothing wrong with copying what is already working but it takes alot of decipline to be successful. You have to know when to finish what you start but also to know when you never should have started down the wrong road in the first place. Uh oh....im not the one suppose to ranting here...sorry Patric..ha ha.
Patrick, you are one of the few people whose messages I read on a regular basis. So many others get filed away for later viewing, but that never happens.
This year I have been looking for a 'no BS' mentor to help me get a grip on what I really need to do to achieve a 5 figure monthly income online.
I've joined several high-priced programs from big names that turned out to be a waste of time and money. You would be surprised at what really lies behind the closed doors of some IM membership sites - I know I was. Big names mean nothing when it comes right down to it.
Your Chan Do Internet Success System Coaching Program sounds like it could be helpful to me. I will certainly be taking a long hard look at it on the 18th of July. I'm hardly a newbie but I'm a long way from being what I consider to be successful online.
You are SO right that education is the foundation of success. Whether people are paying a university or an IM coach, it doesn't matter as much as what we do with the information we receive. I know just enough to be a danger to myself and I am totally guilty of not following through on many things I start.
Thanks for giving us the straight story. I've watched you come up the ranks in the last few years and I believe you know what you are talking about.
Hi Patrick,
great article but please, keep it a little bit shorter and concise but containing all the useful things ;)

Well said Patric :-))
Sunday Email Part 13. I'm a regular reader of your Blog and emails. I haven't posted before, but this time your comments really do hit home, big time! It's all about DOING SOMETHING and TAKEING ACTION. I find the same thing with people that have brought my products since 2004, some people REALLY get it and make money, while other people do nothing at all, and then still keep asking what they can do! Need I say anymore! It's a big internet world out there, isn't it better to have tried something and failed - than to not have tried at all!
Well done Patric :-))
